» Concept and scope

Absence of the public employee responsible for a minor’s education, up to four hours per quarter, for each minor and for the time strictly necessary for traveling to school in order to be aware of the minor’s educational situation

» Formalities

» When predictable are compulsorily communicated to the public employer within a minimum 5 days in advance

» When unpredictable are compulsorily communicated as soon as possible

» The public employer may within 15 days of communication request document proving the facts invoked for the justification
