The change of pay step is carried out according to the performance assessment

Negotiation

» Placement of the recruited public employee in one of the pay steps of the category shall be the subject of negotiation with the public employer entity

» The negotiation has place immediately after the end of the open competition procedure

Note

To public employees integrated in the categories of the administrative staff career that apply to a work position of the same category, the public employer entity may not propose a pay step higher to that one received by public employees holders of a previous public employment relationship for indefinite period of time
