ALLOWANCE GRANTED TO COMPENSATE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HANDLING AMOUNTS OF CASH AND SHORTAGES

Public employees who handle or have in their possession in the treasury or collection areas, securities, stocks, valuables, assets, bonds or deeds being responsible for them are entitled to a compensation supplement designated “allowance to compensate public employees handling cash and shortages”

The right to such allowance may be recognised to more than one public employee by each body or service, when the handling activity or guard aforementioned covers different work positions

Careers and or categories, as well as public employees who in each ministerial department, are entitled to such allowance, are determined by joint order of the respective member of the Government and for those responsible for finance and public administration areas

The cash amount of such allowance is set annually by order
