PER DIEM ALLOWANCEPublic employees fulfilling public functions, when moved away from their necessary domicile on public service grounds, are entitled to a per diem allowance Nota It is deemed necessary domicile, for per diem allowance purposes: » The village or town where the public employee moved to perform service, under the terms of the contract or of acceptance of appointment » The village or town where he/she fulfils functions, if he/she were placed in a village or town other than the referred to in the preceding sub-paragraph » The village or town where the centre of his/her functional activity is located, when there is not a definite place for the fulfilment of functions » Travels in national territory » Public employees fulfilling public functions: - with basic salary higher than the amount of the pay step 18 - € 50,20 - with basic salary that range between the amounts of pay steps 18 and 9 - € 43,40 - other public employees - € 39,83 » Travels in official mission to and in abroad » Members of the Government - € 100,24 » Public employees fulfilling public functions: - with basic salary higher than the amount of the pay step 18 - € 89,35 - with basic salary that ranges between the amounts of pay steps 18 and 9 - € 85,50 - Other public employees - € 72,72 Note » The mentioned amounts are related to January 2015 » The pay steps are those which are set out in the single pay scale of public employees fulfilling public functions » The per diem allowance is not subjected to the compensation reduction provided for in paragraph 2 of law75/2014, of 12 September |
