JOINT COMMISSION

» Composition

The Joint Commission is composed of four members

» Two members in representation of the Administration (one must be compulsorily member of the Coordinating Council for Service Assessment (CCA)

» Two members in public employees’s representation

» Election

The public employees’ representatives are elected, as a rule, during the month of December. The universes of electors and of eligible are coincident and cover the total number of the service public employees, excluded those who perform management positions or with equivalent rank in the respective service

» Duration of the term of office

The term of office of the Joint Commission has four-year duration

» Competence

The Joint Commission has advisory and consultative competence translated in the assessment of appraisal proposals made known to public employees before the confirmation; in the case of such public employees request its intervention
