top management positions

Renewal of the tenure depends on results achieved during the respective term of office.

For the purposes of eventual renewal of the tenure, holders of top management positions shall inform the competent Government member the term of the respective tenure 90 consecutive days in advance of the respective term of office and will accompany this notification with a report on results achieved during the mandate and a summary of the application of the assessment system in the respective service.

In the case of non-renewal, duties are carried out as part of routine management, within a maximum period of 90 days or, temporarily, on a substitution regime basis.

The tenure of grade 1 top management positions may only be renewed once and the manager may not be appointed to the same position in the respective service until five years have been elapsed.

middle management positions

For the purposes of eventual renewal of the tenure, holders of middle management positions shall inform the service top manager, at least 90 days in advance the term of the respective tenure. Renewal shall be dependent on a circumstantial analysis of the respective performance and results achieved, which shall have as a reference the appraisal procedure of the outgoing manager.

In the case of non-renewal, duties shall be ensured, on a current management scheme, within a maximum period of 90 days or, temporarily, on a substitution regime basis.
